We are in the Chapter Leader News!

This publication mentioned the Greater Kansas City -Area chapters for hosting the annual 'Embracing Excellence ' Conference for 2012! It also stated we collaborated with Bonnie Barnes, co-founder of the Daisy Foundation, to award recipients who attended the conference.

Judging Science Fair

On March 14, Thelma Sword and Cindy Waits judged the 62nd Science & Engineering Fair sponsored by Science Pioneers, Inc. Three awards were given in the area of the sciences that dealt with the betterment of health and science. The first award was given to a student who did an experiment "Wash or not to wash" with lettuce and bacterial count, the second to a student who did an experiment on biofeedback, and the third to a group of four, who did an experiment on acidity & which product worked best to control acid indigestion. The monitory awards were given on Saturday, March 16, at Battle Hall.

Chapter Key Award

Just for everyone's information, chapter members are eagerly working on meeting the requirements for a chapter key award! This would be the first, ever for Pi Eta Chapter.
